Experienced in Estate Tax Planning
Joel A. Slater has practiced locally since graduating from Vanderbilt University Law School and being admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2013. Mr. Slater concentrates his practice in complex estate and trust administration, estate tax planning, wills and trusts, and related fields. During law school, Mr. Slater served as a Managing Editor of the Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law, and he was honored to be certified through the Vanderbilt Law and Business Program. He resides in Effingham with his wife Leigh Ann and children Jett, Lucy, and Luke.
